ALSO, in searching the records from St. Anne's Church today, I found that it is sometimes written "Aslin dit Chevrieux" (not positive on the Chevrieux spelling). Has anyone run across this before? I understand (somewhat) the meaning of 'dit'--I just don't know where the Chevieux/Chevrieux came from.
