Hello!
My name is Grahame Redmond I am a descendant of John Astridge, Governor of Penny Street goal through his son John Henry Astridge (Born 7th April 1844 on thr Isle of Wight) who emmigrated to Austrlia in 1884 with his family. My mother was the daughter of his son Alfred Astridge.
I am trying to track down a dughter, Ellen (Nellie), of John who came to Australia with the family and all trace of her vanishes. Perhaps she went back to England?
Although I know some of the family history I am eager to learn more.
I hope we can correspond by email and exchange information.
