The Em Astridge you mention was the sister of my grandfather, George Astridge of Ashtead. I'd love to make contace with you as I have the obituary of their father (John Astridge) which gives the number of children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren he had when he died aged 92 and I'm trying to identify them. You can e-mail me through the website of the Guild of One-Name Studies "Astridge" - I have lots of info for you - I have Em's line traced back to Overton in the 1700s.
