Thanks, Michael. Actually, I have not taken the Talbot descent beyond the children of Basil Talbott and Sarah Athey as my focus is on the Fenley family. Cap't George Athey patented a great deal of land in Piscataway Hundred in MD near my Hawkins, Bayne & Fenley ancestors, and I have gleaned quite a bit about him from MD Probate Records and MD Archives. "Twentieth Century Colonial Ancestors" states that the wife of Cap't George Athey was Sarah Marsh, but I do not know if that is proven or is if it is simply one of those "said" things that gathers momentum. From probate, it appears that he had a first wife named Ann. Does the book that you mention give proof of his marriage/marriages? Thanks, Ann
