bobbie jean i saw your inquiries but then i couldnt find you but now i have .my name is betty hoyt ilive in san antonio tx,but i grew up in akron ohio as well as my family. my grandmother cordelia adeline athey was a sister to sardis montimer athey born about 1858 in w va.his father was sardis rufus and his wife sarah athey. my father name sardis montimer robertson he was named after sardis montimer athey who married nancy kinney.i visted the grave site afew years ago in cuyagha falls.ihad planned this year to come again east but i have been detained in california and oregon this past summer.hopefully in the coming spring time i can plan another trip to akron and alot of time in parkersburg wva.i have also just made contact with a carla conant in akron who is relation do you know her? i met with her father donald and he gave me apicture when she was young and also her grandmother eva family went many times to vist sardis and nancy. i saw where you posted pictures and i do remember minnie brookover andsardis jr.i have forwarded prints to my one sister in iowa to see if she remembers them. and will send more to my sister in akron.i have most all the athey genealogy completed also the conants.but i have just returned to san antonio and i havent had time to get everything put together to reply.i have just gotten back on the internet.i am doing at least 4to 500 searches and getting them ready to put in book form.i know there is a picture of cordila athey in wva but i havent recieved it yet. but willbe happy to share any and all information i have,please let me know what you are searching for at this time.most sincerly betty
