I have started researching my family last Spring. My great grandfather was a Robert Aitken from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He was born about 1864. My mother knows little about him. She says that all his family died when he was a child. He eventually moved to London and married in 1894. His father was John Aitken. We spell the name Aitken but I think its possible that there are alternate spellings. Any ideas? Joanna Algeo Notify Administrator about this message?
