I have history on George Atkin- parents Thomas Atkin (b2-10-1804 in Legsby, Lincolnshire, England) and Mary Morley (b2-24-1800) Thomas has a brother John Atkin. Thomas and Mary and a daughter Emily set sail for America Jan. 29, 1849. They reached the Salt Lake Valley 9-25-1849. Hope this is info that can help you.
