I am descended from Robert and Jane Atkin who were in Newcastle in the mid-1800s. One of their sons (my great grandfather) Frederick John (married Sarah Crowther)later moved to Liverpool.
Their other children included Ann, Robert, George, Joseph, and 2 Janes (one died as infant).
Frederick's eldest son John, (my grandfather) emigrated to Australia in 1923. I have just published a book about these Atkins and their life in England and Australia.
My main interest now is in knowing what became of Frederick siblings and their descendants.
