Thanks for your reply and apologies for time taken for my response (telephone line cut by excavator, not fixed for 5 days). I don't believe we've communicated previously. Yes all the info I posted is rock solid I believe. I cannot see any connection at this stage. My great grandfathers older brothers and sisters were born in Newcastle ranging back as far as 1840, so my gggrandfather Robert Atkin was there having babies before your Robert arrived. However I haven't been back any further and have no idea of my origins previous to that. Keep digging!
