In my 2006 message I posted the information I had on Orsymus and his descendants.I now have confirmation that he was a son of William AUBLE, 1785-1872, and an earlier wife than Betsey ALLEN (possibly a Sarah "Sally" OWEN).Below is a transcription of the petition for Probate of William's will by his son Isaac E. AUBLE.

PETITION FOR APPOINTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION
To the Hon. Benjamin A. Harlan Judge of Probate for the County of Kent in the State of Michigan:
The Petition of Isaac E. Auble who is of the age of twenty-one years and upwards, of the County of Kent respectfully shows:
That William Auble late of Cascade in the said County of Kent departed this life in said Township of Cascade on Monday the Eighth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy two leaving no last Will and Testament, as your petitioner is informed and verily believes.
Your petitioner is a son of the said deceased
That said deceased was, at and immediately previous to his death, an inhabitant of said County of Kent and that he was possessed of some personal Estate, situate and being in the County of Kent to be administered, and that the estimated value thereof is the sum of Eighty six Dollars or thereabout as your petitioner is informed and verily believes.
And your petitioner further shows that the names and residence of the heirs at law of said deceased, and other persons interested in his estate, are as follows:
Orsemus Auble living somewhere in the State of Ohio a Son of the said deceased.
Andrew Auble a son of the said deceased residing in the township of Cascade Kent Co., Mich.
Eliza Brown widow of Henry Brown a daughter of the said deceased living in Canada, Provence of Ontario and your petitioner living in Cascade aforesaid.
Your petitioner therefore prays that all persons interested in said estate may be duly cited as required by law, and as to this court may seem proper, that administration of said estate may be granted to himself and that such other and further order and proceedings may be had in the premises as may be required by the statutes in such case made and provided.
