Hi Jon

You have nice info there
One of the things i find strange is the various spelling of the Aubrey name to Aubray, Obrey,Awbrey etc.
I have great diffulty obtaining records because of this
The Aubrey I am looking for is a William Aubrey b about 1817 in the Swansea valley in Cwmtwrch or Tredegaer
He married a Jennet Aubrey (same surname ) and they lived in Onllwyn in the Dulais Valley Glamorgan
One of the interisting things I have are audio tapes of Williams grandson Dan Lewis recalling events in his younger years in Onllwyn in 1905.

John
