Vera May Auger (Craigen)

This post relates to Vera May Auger, wife of James Byron Craigen. On the AFSA site it records that James' father, Ewart Byron Craigen, was married to Marguerita Rita Kilbourne.

I have a copy of Rita's Death Certificate dated August 23 1952, Powell River, British Columbia, in which it is stated that her husband was Ewart GLADSTONE Craigen. Ewart Gladstone Craigen was the father of Ewart Byron Craigen (to the best of my belief).

The death certificate also says that her name was Helen Marguerita Kilburn Craigen, parents were George Byron and Ada Louise McGibbon, of New Brunswick, Canada. Rita is a shortened family name which has been passed down to surviving kin in B.C.

Ewart Gladstone Craigen was youngest son of James Brown Craigen (my Great Great Uncle) and Christina Marr Fraser, who emigrated to Canada from Banchory Ternan, Scotland in 1907.
