Translation Help Needed
Posted by: Ronald Laberge (ID *****5253) Date: April 15, 2008 at 18:12:18

For the past year a group of us have been translating a book about the life and times of our ancestor Robert de la Berge who was the first and only La Berge from France. The book is a treasure of history covering the period 1600-1700 and contains information of many other New France pioneer families….not just those of Laberge.

Your help is needed to edit a chapter or more of the translations, make them more readable in English and correct them to maintain the French-Canadian meaning of Pierre-Lionel de la Berge, the author of this work. A copy of the chapter will be sent to you for verifying the translation.

If you have fluency in both languages and can afford us a little of your time, it will be most gratefully appreciated.

Ron Laberge – Albany, New York – rhlaberge@albanymanagement.com or ri1900@hotmail.com
