Read your post and I too have Guertin and Mi'kmaq in my lineage.

I am looking for information on Peter Guertin, he married someone with Mi'kmaq heritage. I beleive this women and Peter had William, Edith Rose, Valarie and Bebrie or Bebric. Peter later married Molly L, they had Eleanor and Molly daughter Maude.

Peter was born in Canada in 1847, died 1927 in Northborough, Mass.

Any advise you can give me on tracking this family will be much appreciated.

Kind Regards,
