I have recently returned from a trip to Emmershauser, Germany to conduct research on Valentin and his wife who were born there. Emmershauser is a small farming community about 30 km north of Frankfort. For your research, start with "Valentin Alt, His Children and His Grandchilden", by Nellie Wallace Reeser. Also the York County, PA Historic Society has excellent resources on the Ault Family upon their arrival in this county in 1732.
