Hi, Priscilla, my ancestors, on my father's side, arrived here from Derbyshire England in the 1830's. They were John and Catherine (nee Ault) Neal. I only know they came from Long Lane near Derby in Derbyshire and they were married at a chapel or church in Derby. I don't have the exact dates in front of me but when they came here to Pa it was around 1839. The notes in the paper said a sister who was already here told them about the good land and the opportunities here. They settled in Charleston Township in Tioga Co. Pennsylvania. I have hit a brick wall trying to find out whch spouse had the sister here and what was her name and if there is any way I can discover the next generation back. I'm hoping your info will click with mine.
