GOLDSMITH, Maxine Mary "Mickey" - passed peacefully November 19, 2005 in Spokane. She was born on the family farm in Waitsburg, WA on July 11, 1917. Mickey was one of six children born to Hugh and Mabel AULT. She married Ernest GOLDSMITH and was a housewife for many happy years.

Mickey is survived by her sister, Doris WILEY; niece, Mary Ellen WILEY; nephew, Chris WILEY, all of Prosser, WA. Other relatives include her niece, Connie THOORSELL of Spokane, and nephew, Steve AULT of Stanwood, WA. Connie and Steve had the privilege of being raised by Mickey and Ernie, and have always considered her a second "Mom." She leaves behind many nieces, nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews.

Mickey attended EWU, specialized in the dietary department, and was later employed at
Deaconess Hospital. She had many dear friends
including her weekly "Lunch Bunch" girls. Mickey enjoyed playing Scrabble, Sunday crossword puzzles, and loved to read. She also enjoyed many memorable vacations. Mickey was very crafty and her home displayed many needlepoint pictures and other things that she had made. She served many years as the Secretary at St. Andrews Episcopal Church where she attended. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held, Tuesday, November 29, 2005, 1 PM in the Alwin Chapel at HAZEN & JAEGER FUNERAL HOME, 1306 NORTH MONROE STREET, SPOKANE
