I sure wish I could help you. My research partner and I looked at every available record and couldn't find out for sure what happened to the children of Temperance after the 1850 census. I have a notation that the son John b. about 1848, may have married a Nancy and had a son John F. b. in 1877. At one time I had all of my notes from researching the Alts of Hardy, Grant & Pendleton counties, but after the Alt book was published, I disposed of most of them. I might take a fresh look at the census records and see if I can find anything new.
