I found some information about Adam Ault in some old history books at the library. Adam was born in Washington D.C. He married Mary Reighard on 8-1-1827, (She died in 1856). Their children were: Stephan D., Mary E., John, Anna M. Catherine (Mrs Jesse Snyder), Herman, Augustus, and Elizabeth. Adam was a carpenter and in 1816 he settled in Newberry PA. He built many of the buildings in that area and was widely known as an honest and efficient builder. He was a member of the Lycoming Presbyterian Church, a Whig, and later a Republican. He was a delegate to Democratic meeting, Lycoming Twp. on 9-9-1829.
