From the Loudoun Co Personal Property Tax lists. Note that the term Battalion was used for both militia and tax purposes and denoted a district. Only males 16 years or older would appear on the lists.

A First Battalion       Alt, William and Alt, William and Alt, John
A First Battalion       Alt, William & 2 sons
B 1st Battalion       Alt, William & son
B [First Battalion]       Alt, William and son
B [First Battalion]       Alt, John
C First District       Alt, John
B [First District]       Alt, John
C First District        Alt, John
A First District       Alt, John
B First District       Alt, John
A First District       Alt, John
B First District       Alt, John
B First District       Alt, John
A First District       Alt, John
B First District       Alt, John
B First District       Alt, John
B First District       Alt, John

John Alt/Ault does not appear on the 1830 Loudoun Co Census, so he appears to have left the county prior to the taking of the 1829 tax lists.
