Hi Mary...Yes...both names are related...We are able to directly trace back the Austerberry name to 1040 by males. Have you been in touch with Rev. David Austerberry? He is our man in the UK. Our ancestors were Vikings who settled in York. There are references to the family dating back to the 5th century in Norway. Please post again if you need info on how to get into the Austerberry loop. We have World Gatherings all over the world every 5 years. marianne
