Hi David
Thank you for your help but that John Kelly is not the one I was after.

I am trying to find out what happened to a John Kelly who was 10yrs old in February 1860. Father dead and mother was in the launatic Asylum. I dont have the name of parents. He was raised by my gggrandfather in SA until he was 17 1/2. (Archive info) His parents were probably Catholic most records will be hard to find.

I suspect but not sure yet that his father was Patrick Kelly of Morphett Vale SA who died 1856. Sons at the time were Patrick Edward Kelly age 3(Obit says was orphaned??). Also had brothers John Kelly (NSW) and James Kelly possibly others at the time.

So it appears this John Kelly went to NSW . The online indexes don't have ages so was wondering if the Pioneers Indexes might be more helpful.

Thanks for any help
