Hi Allan

Perhaps Judith went to live with one of her mothers siblings. Quite a few to choose from. Just a thought as it doesn't say how old she was when her mother died.

KILLED IN FALL FROM TRAIN
JERILDERIE (N.S.W.), Tuesday.
When the Narrandera-Tocumwal motor train was near North Yathong John Kelly, son of Mr. Thomas Kelly, of Tocumwal, fell from the door of the carriage. He was brought to the Jerilderie railway station, where he was found to be dead.
