I am looking for information on George Connell, may have been O'Connell as he was born in Ireland. He spent 27 years in the Imperial Army, volunteered for the Crimean War, participated in the AMERICAN CIVIL WAR and the Boer War.George Connellís brother, Lieutenant Charles John Connell during his military service, was awarded the decoration of the French Legion of Honour. He served with the South African Campaign and died in South Africa.George Connell died in September 1920 in Parkside, South Australia.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. jamesmgray@bigpond.com
