ATEN/AUTEN DNA test candidates

If you have an interest in Auten/Aten history and you are a male with the Auten or Aten surname, who reasonably believes his Auten or Aten heritage is correct (ie, he is not adopted into an Aten family, etc.) would you like to participate in a DNA testing program?

The process is painless (a cheek swab) and free (the tests have already been paid for as part of the program) - all that is required is that you signal your interest.

If you are interested, or if you know an Auten or Aten male who may be interested, please respond to this posting.

We hope to hear from a good selection of candidates - there are many lines of Atens and Autens descending from the original ancestor who arrived in 1650 in New Amsterdam. However, of these lines many have not yet been followed back to their place in history. Do get in contact. nancy vose
