Hello Vanessa,
The info i know about Charles is what my Teia has told me he was wild child when he was younger I do know that he was born in St.Louis 1820 and died 6-17-1882 on the Heurfano I got most of my info from 2 books so far i still have a couple of other books to The first book i read was "Lady of Taos" by R.L.Luna it has a picture of his son Mariano and Elena on the inside cover Mariano is my ggg grandfather the other book is "Colorado south of the border" by Ralph Taylor Sage books charles also had a half brother by the name of Tom Tobin there is a book about him but i havent been able to find it maybe when i go to colo i can pick it up if you havent read these books i can maybe scan you some pages if you like well must close for now
