I have become interested in the de Ayalas after tracing my British ancestry back to Sir Walter Blount's marriage to Dona Sancha de Ayala in the late 14th c. I just started looking for Pedro Lopez de Ayala, her uncle, but found amongst other things on the web:

López de Ayala, Diego. "Constituciones del Colegio de Sta. Catalina de Toledo." Biblioteca Nacional, MS 933.

Madrid, 1869.
_____. Poesías. Ed. A.F. Kuersteiner. 2 vols. New York, 1920.

and a chapter on-line that says a lot about him and his family:

Perth, Australia
