Anita,

Can you list a time period? And, do you know if La Puerta de San Cristobal is/was a ranch in Linares? I have an Ayala great grandmother whose ancestry I am trying to find. Her name was Maria Gregoria (possibly also Eugenia), AIALA, ALLALA, other times listed as DE AYALA. I guesstimate she was born abt. 1754, where she was born I don't know, possibly Linares, but that's just a guess. She married my 5th great-grandfather, Joan Jose Antonio Mireles in 1771 in Linares. They had at least 6 children between 1772 and 1784. I have an idea who her parents might be but I have not confirmed it yet.
Mercedes
