Louisa BAAD was the daughter of Johann Gottfried BAAD & Christiana Catharine SCHIESS. She and her parents and siblings were born in Steinheim an der Murr, OA. Marbach, Neckarkreis, Wuerttemberg. Her surviving siblings were Catharina Margaretha BAAD, Samuel Friederich BAAD, Rosina BAAD, and Georg Christian BAAD.
Henry STROUP was the son of Johann Christian STRAUB & Margaretha [FREIER?]. Based on the censuses, Henry & Louisa (BAAD) STROUP had the following children:
1. Margaret STROUP, b. Dec 1849
2. Mary A. STROUP, b. 1852/3
3. Louisa C. STROUP, b. 1854/5
4. William Gottfried STROUP, b. 1858/9
5. John C. STROUP, b. 1860/1
6. Henry E. STROUP, b. 1864/5
7. Amanda Christina STROUP, b. Nov 1869
