I have info on a Baade family that married into my McGowan branch.
John and Dorothy Baade both b. Germany
children: Catherine, Mary, John Jr.,Dorothy "Dora", Elizabeth "Lizzie", Marguerite "Maggie".
Mary, Dora, Lizzie and Maggie never married. They lived with each other their entire lives in Manhattan.
John Baade Jr. b. 1847 married Maria Fitzell
children: Willaim b. 1878 .. he married Helen Hoffman
children: Helen b. 1903 and William Jr. b. 1913
Catherine Baade b. 1842 m. James McGovern
children: Charles b. 1868, John b. 1873, Peter b. 1876, Joseph b. 1878 and Catherine b. 1880.
Any one connected to this family.. all in Manhattan through early 1900's as far as I can tell.
