Hi Mary Lou, Sorry no William (Wilhelm) in my database. If the census record said Russian Poland or Germany or Russia, then the odds would be higher. I've come to the conclusion that Baar is originally a Netherlands name where Barr is very common. The Dutch were brought into what is now Poland to help clear the swamps and build windmills. Thanks for asking. Earl Notify Administrator about this message?
