Hi Gus,
Great to hear from you! I have an August Baatz, son of Franz and Katharina Hollinger Baatz. My information says that he was 62 years old in 1931 and was then a Schneider (tailor) in the German village of Herschweiler-Pettersheim, Pfalz. Some of his brothers were in Chicago, so he could have move to IL. Do you have any more information on your August?
