Beulah F. Babb Thacker Johnson, 66, of Kingsport, Sullivan
Co TN, was called home on Monday, October 13, 2008, at her
home. She was a member of The House of Faith and Worship.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Thacker;
two children, Rita and David Thacker; parents, James H.
Babb and Pearl Babb; sister, Emma McDavid.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa McMullen and
husband John, COL; Christina L. Thacker Taylor and her
husband Rupert C. Taylor, Kingsport, TN; granddaughter,
Casey Erickson, COL; sister, Brenda Pippin, Kingsport, TN;
brother, Darrell Babb, Stanley Valley, TN; several nieces
and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday, October 17, 2008, from 6 p.m.
to 8 p.m. at Scott County Funeral Home, 2060 US Highway
23N, Weber City, VA.
Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. in the funeral home
chapel with Rev. Larry Campbell officiating.
Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home is serving the
Johnson family.
