My great grandfather, Harry Clark was adopted by Richard and Phoebe Babbage in Orleans Co., New York in the 1880s. The Babbages had one natural son, Edwin (known as Win) b. 1860. I know that Richard was born in England around 1824. Phoebe was born in NY in about 1825. Anybody recognize these people?
