St. Charles (Illinois) Chronicle, Sept. 9, 1915:
DeWitt Snow, living east of town had an accident last Thursday, which might have been fatal, when the buggy tongue dropped and he attempted to stop the horses, turning them to the side of the road. The rig crashed into a pole by the roadside and upset the buggy. The occupants were Mrs. Anna Faith of DePlains and Mesdames Jennie Babbitt and Eva Goodyear and children, who were uninjured. Mr. Snow and Mrs. Faith were bruised but not seriously hurt.
