Kristen,

Found reference to John Meadall Babbitt (s/Nathaniel) b. Oct 1, 1785 Hanover, NH res. in Hardwick. Can you tell me how he might be connected to Jacob, who m. Eliz Scott?

Think there may be a connection, as John named sons Curtis, Harvey and Elkins and a dau Asenath, all names that run in the Elkins line.

Any help would be appreciated.
The other two children Franklin and Charles Carpenter may be a clue as well. Asenath Carpenter m/ and Elkins.
