I would imagine that we are researching the same family. My grandmother, Kitty Ethel Robertson b.1885 was the daughter of Johnathan Robertson and Sarah Samantha Babbs b.April 14, 1858 d. 1933 married ? in Vandallia, Ill, but lived around Beecher City in Effingham, at least some relatives did. Just begin to research the Babbs, but I think that her father was George Babbs. Around the 1885-1905 era, my grandmother talked about an Uncle Johnny Babbs. I am sure we are talking about the same family. Do you have any further information on this family?
