Howdy,
I have just started researching this line today and don't have much info. My Grandma Thelma Lou RIPPERDAN was born on the river May 1919. Her mother ???? died giving birth or shortly after. My Aunt Emma BABBS and her mother Granny BABBS raised my Grandma Thelma Lou RIPPERDAN she had an older brother Ted, possibly Theodore RIPPERDAN their father was Maybe Frank RIPPERDAN after his wife's death he moved on to Hammond??, Ind. then onto Michigan. Granny BABBS and Aunt Emma raised Grandma around Idilwood Community near De Valls Bluff, Ar. in Prairie Co. Ark. I do remember Aunt Emma married 4 or 5 times her last husband Harry TAYLOR in DeValls Bluff, Ar. Aunt Emma died in 1973 seems like she was 76 yrs. old. Granny BABBS died in 1944 or 1945 around Honey Creek near Idilwood (sp) Community. If anyone knows of these families I hope you can start me off in the right direction. Thanks,
