My name is John Thomas Babb. I was blindly surfing the net and stumbled upon your posting on the genealogy site GenForum that appears to have been made in March of 1998. The Thomas Babb you refer to is my father. His name was Thomas Raymond Babb and he was born in Adairville, KY on September 23, 1901. I didn't know he was a forest ranger but shortly after I was born in March of 1943, we moved from Glendale, CA (where I was born) to Williams, Oregon (near Grants Pass) where we homesteaded a small farm. I don't think we stayed there very long because my sister, Martha Jane Babb was born in Los Angeles, CA on August 2, 1945.
