Phebe Babcock, dau of Henry L and Rory? Babcock, b abt 1841 in Caton, Steuben Co., NY, married 16 Jan 1862 at the Methodist Church in Caton, Jason R Veazie, son of Laban and Lucy Veazie. Jason died 1863. Buried Elmwood Cem, Caton.
The 1870 Fed Census lists her with in-laws Laban and Lucy in Elmira, Chemung Co., NY.
I can't find her after that. Couldn't find a cemetery listing for Phebe Veazie so I suspect she remarried.
Does anyone have further information on her? Any hints greatly appreciated.
