Elizabeth Howe was d/o Lieutenant William Howe (UEL) born in New York & of Margaret VanOrder b.19 Jan., 1751- 52 in Bergen Co., New Jersey. She was b.c. 1771 d. b4 1805.
Elizabeth and David Babcock had 4 children – all born in Kingston , Ont. :
Margaret Babcock b. c. 1791; William Escott Norman Babcock b. 12 Jan., 1794 , Benjamin Babcock b.c.1803 ; Elizabeth Babcock b.c. 1804.
