Just wanted to post a note to let people who may be descended from Margaret Jane Babcock that I have a photo of her I would be happy to share. Margaret Jane Babcock was born 14 Apr 1847 Platte Co. MO, the daughter of Richard Babcock and Serilda Moore who lived in Waldron Twp, Platte Co. MO. Margaret Jane Babcock married twice: 1st on 6 Aug 1865 to John R. Heath b. 1846 d. Sept 1866 and 2nd on 29 Sept 1868 in Platte Co MO Thomas Henry Butner b. 21 Dec 1842 Bethabara, Stokes Co. NC d. 1 Mar 1922 Leavenworth, KS. Margaret Jane Babcock went to live with her married daughter in Spokane, WA after the death of her 2nd husband. She died there on 19 Sept 1923 but her remains were shipped back to be buried in Platte Co. MO. She had the following children:

Dora S. Butner b. 1872 Fredonia, Wilson Co. KS d. young

Florence 'Flora' Butner b. Jan 1880 Platte Co MO
Charles Henderson Butner b. 25 Oct 1881
