Hi Ava, I have same Jacob Stover Babcock in my files married to Eliza Jane Laughlin or McLaughlin with one daughter Alice, same as you do.
With regards to Alexander Babcock born about 1816-1817, I have him married twice, wives were Frances (Fanny) Boomhower daughter of Peter and Lucretia Boomhower, no date of marriage, with four children between 1837 and 1845, (Hester Ann, Sylvester, Sarah Jane and Mary A.) not sure if there were others; second wife Wealth Ann Oliver and one son Ephraim Babcock, but I have no dates and therefore not a lot of confirmation.
Same Alexander Babcock died Jan. 9, 1885 at Napanee. I have Fanny as born 1818, died 1858 possibly at Richmond, Lennox County.
I do not have names of Alexander's parents.
