I find on Ancestry. com database: Ontario,Canada Deaths, 1869-1934:
David Babcock, Death date: 20 May 1887; Age: 78 yrs.
Location: Lennox & Addington; Estimated birth year: 1809; Birth location: Ernesttown. Laborer, found dead in prison yard.
Would this be the same David Babcock who was the father of Catherine Babcock in previous posts, and what does it mean by Laborer? was he an inmate or a worker? Thanks for any help.
