(iv) Amanda Babcock , b. 20 May, 1799 in Westfield , Wash. Co., N.Y. ; d. 25 May, 1883 in Oregon, Dane Co., Wisconsin . She married (1) 16 May, 1818 in Clark Co., IN. to Jonathan Ellsworth b. c. 1795 d. bef. 1845 , s/o Grove Ellsworth and Sarah Phinney.
Their 4 children, all born in N.Y. , are : S.K. Ellsworth, Amanda Ellsworth, Eleste Ellsworth, John Ellsworth. She married (2) in 1845 to James Dean b. ? d. 1846 WI. ; and their child is J. F. Dean b.c. 1846 N.Y.
