Looking for information on James Baber of Cleburne County Alabama. He is buried at Edwardsville Cemetery in Al with his wife Martha. He was born Feb 14 1815 died Nov 19 1892. Martha born Nov 19 1822 died July 21 1910. He was appointed first judge of Probate for Cleburne County. They had 7 children :
1. Andrew Jackson Baber born 1840 married to Rachel Armstrong. They had 7 children. He served in Civil War.
2. James R. Baber killed at Battle of Chickamauga.
3. William Johnson Baber (my Great Great Grandfather).
4. Stephen P. Baber born 1850.
5. Doctor S. Baber born Oct 1857.
6. Anna L. D. born 1859
7. Mary Anne 1865 married James M. Tyler.
Any info on who his parents were would be greatly appreciated. James Baber born June 2, 1762 in Bedford County, Virginia died July 17, 1836 and married to Mildred Arthur Baber is buried only a few feet away from James Baber born 1815.
