George, I answered you yesterday via a regular e-mail that will follow this message. Your information about Delilah seems to be the same as ours about Polly as the mother of several of Isaac's children. Perhaps you are the key to a major change to how we look at Isaac Baber's line. My information comes from many sources that are within Isaac's line. Taken most seriously is information compiled by Mrs. Charles G. Baber of Lynchburg, VA. The papers are filed with the University of Virginia. I don't have the full chart, but she seems to show Polly Staton as you see it on my site. If anyone has a copy of this study, I'd appreciate a copy. The chart does show that Polly Staton was his fourth wife and that he didn't have children by wives two and three and that one of them was a MAXEY. I have a note that the obit of Isaac Baber appeared in the Richmond Inquirer March 21, 1845. If anyone can find it, it may be very useful as well. The family tree of Isaac Baber is by far the largest file on my website. Any help in correcting any error is always welcome. Perhaps Polly & Delilah are the same person. Date: Saturday, June 26, 1999 9:56 AM George, I don't have a third wife of Isaac. Could you send me what you Be sure to visit my site: www.baberfamilytree.org Joe Baber
