I have a copy of that book. My mother got it from a Baber that lived near us in Galena Park, Texas. She believed they were distant cousins but hadn't been able to remember any names. I have also wondered about the Jacob/Ireland connection but my research hasn't gotten back that far. There are some small errors in the book regarding Edward Baber (son of William Robert Baber) who I am decended from.
