I have a Artie Macie who married an Archibald Hamilton in or around Gwinnett County, Georgia. Artie Macie was born @1810 in North Carolina. Archibald was born probably in Georgia. I do not know that Baber was her maiden name. In her husband's will, a Robert Baber is the exectitor. A Robert Baber was also appointed the guardian of her youngest child, Josephine Hamilton in Cobb County, Georgia when Archibald died in 1861. The will was probated in Gwinnett County where the Hamiltons lived. Does anyone know anything about an Artie Macie? I am concidering the notion that Robert could have been a brother or cousin.
