You are correct about Genevieve at the time of her marriage.
The actual parish records indicates (translated) "***** and Genevieve Richaume, age 19 years, daughter of Magdeleine Richaume, wife of Pierre Babin dit Lacroix".
The clincher is in Genevieve's baptismal record which (again translated)says Genevieve Richaume: On 28 December 1703, I baptised Genevieve Richaume, born today to Madeleine Richaume, father UNKNOWN, ****Godfather was Pierre Meunier. Godmother was Genevieve LeDonay, daughter of Antoine Donay and Marie Richard. Since Pierre Babin and Madeleine Richaume were married in Montreal in 1691 there would be no reason for the priest to show "unknown" for the father if Pierre was the father. "unknown" was the priest's euphemism for illigitement and born out of wedlock. If she had been a legitiment child, the entry would normally have read ****baptised Genevieve Babin daughter of the legitiment marriage of Pierre Babin and Madeleine Richaume****"
